About the Program

Students will explore how exercise impacts health, wellness, and athletic performance through cardio conditioning, strength training, and flexibility techniques. Coursework covers fitness safety, functional movement screening, anatomy and physiology, nutrition, weight management, and both general and sport-specific program design—along with the latest trends and the business side of fitness. Students will learn to create, implement, and adapt personalized training programs based on individual client goals, while also exploring a variety of career paths in the health and fitness industry over the two-year program.

Additional Information

  • Students are responsible for purchasing a uniform for
    the fitness lab.

  • Students will be prepped for a Personal Training
    Certification (NASM, ACE, NETA)

  • Students in this program are eligible for post-secondary
    dual enrollment opportunities.

  • Appropriate attire and sneakers required daily.
