Hamburg Student Drives Success in P-TECH Automotive Program
Hamburg High School junior Tryce Rowan is excelling in the P-TECH Automotive program, where hands-on projects and technical training are preparing him for a promising future in the automotive industry.

Instructor Brian Mysliwiec praised Tryce’s dedication and growth in the program.
“Sophomore year, he enjoyed the engine teardown and rebuild, which allowed him to apply what he learned as a freshman,” Mysliwiec said. “His interest in the engine rebuild was a key reason he chose the Automotive pathway over the body work pathway. Tryce demonstrates focus, preparation, and hard work, qualities he advises incoming students to embrace.”
Tryce joined the program to strengthen his future career prospects.
“My English teacher in 8th grade introduced me to P-TECH, and it relates to my father’s job as a machinist,” Tryce said. “I wanted to give myself better prospects for my future.”
After completing the P-TECH RACE program, Tryce plans to continue his studies at SUNY Erie to finalize his degree. Beyond that, he is exploring a range of career paths and is excited about the opportunities ahead in the automotive field.
